CPR certification is usually only valid for the first fifteen months; after that, renewal courses are required to keep you up to speed on the latest procedures and techniques. No one wants an employee who doesn’t know the proper way to resuscitate a victim in the heat of the moment, which is why it’s important to stay up-to-date on your certification.
